The same in every box, whichever colour you pick
Soft‑close throughout

Doors and drawers both, as standard rather than as a line on the quote.

Plywood boxes on the framed line

Half-inch plywood with a matching exterior. The frameless line is built differently — the panel above sets out both.

Drawers that open all the way

Full‑extension glides on the framed line, so the back of the drawer is somewhere you can reach.

Still adjustable in ten years

Hinges move in six directions. A door that drops can be brought back true without new parts.

Low‑emission board

CARB2 compliant on the framed line.

Warranted for a year

One year from delivery on anything we install. The terms are below, in plain words.

Seen a colour you like? Send the room and we will come back with that finish drawn in, and a price.

Weeks from the measure. Solid is the earliest finish, hatched is the range to the latest.
Working days mean no weekends and no holidays.

Two constructions. One price.

Most shops charge more for one of these. We don't — so the choice is about how you want the kitchen to look and work, not about budget. They are built differently, and it is worth knowing how.

Face frame

A hardwood frame across the front of the box.

The traditional American cabinet, and what most Treasure Valley houses were built around. Five profiles, twenty-four colours.

Box ½″ plywood, with a matching exterior
Door Solid wood stiles and rails on most finishes
Drawers Full-extension, soft-close
Board CARB2 compliant throughout
Frameless

No front frame. Full access, wider drawers.

A flat, modern face and every inch of the box usable. The Slim Shaker line and the Euro finishes.

Box ¾″ melamine-laminated plywood sides, cam-lock assembly
Door ¾″ MDF or particle-board core
Drawers Soft-close, on a metal corner bracket
Shelves ¾″ melamine-laminated plywood, full depth

Julie Norris

“Sergey came out to our Farmhouse, measured and had a computer diagram of our kitchen done. He gave us a delivery date when we placed our order and delivered on time.”

Sam Crow

“Every time they left, they would clean up after. There was no surprises in pricing or product. Amazing with communication, super friendly.”

Common questions

The things people ask before they order.

How long does it take to get cabinets from River City Cabinetry?

Stock cabinets are installed 19 to 25 working days after we measure — weekends and holidays not counted, so about four to five weeks on a calendar. Custom work runs six to eight weeks. You get the date when you place the order.

How quickly do I get a quote?

Within 24 to 48 hours of the measure. You get a computer drawing of your kitchen and a fixed price, not an estimate that moves later.

Do face frame cabinets cost more than frameless?

No. River City Cabinetry charges the same for face frame and frameless construction. Most shops charge more for one or the other, so here the choice is about how you want the kitchen to look and work rather than about budget.

What are RTA cabinets?

RTA stands for ready-to-assemble. The boxes arrive flat and are assembled rather than shipped pre-built, which cuts weeks off the lead time and reduces transport damage. Finishes are held in stock, which is what makes the date possible.

How many cabinet finishes are available?

Fifty. Twenty-four across five framed door profiles, seven in the Slim Shaker line, five frameless Euro finishes, and fourteen older colours that are still sold. Older colours are not retired, so a kitchen you saw years ago can still be matched.

Do you install, or only supply the cabinets?

Both. River City Cabinetry can deliver cabinets for your own installer, or measure, build, deliver and fit the whole room including countertops and flooring. The one-year warranty applies to work we install.

What areas do you serve?

Nampa, Meridian, Boise, Caldwell, Middleton, Kuna, Star and Eagle — the whole Treasure Valley. We come to you: we measure at the house, and deliver and install there. Appointments run Monday through Saturday.

Will you beat another cabinet shop's quote?

Yes. Bring a written quote from another shop and River City Cabinetry will come in ten percent under it, with the same boxes, the same finishes and the same lead time.

Warranty

One year, and an honest account of what that means.

One year from delivery

On anything River City installs, for the original buyer, in a home. It covers defects in material and workmanship.

What it does not cover

Damage from moisture, sunlight, household cleaners, misuse, or work that someone else installed, modified or took apart.

Wood moves, and that is not a fault

Grain, colour and small cracks at the joints change as wood ages and takes light. That is the material behaving like material.

If a colour has been discontinued

We replace it with the same style, or the closest one we still carry. An exact match to something installed years ago is not something anyone can promise.

Read the full terms

River City Cabinetry warrants, for a period of (1) year (if installed by River City) from the date of delivery to the original purchaser, the product provided by it to be free from defects in material and workmanship when properly installed under normal residential use.

This warranty is subject to disclaimers set forth.

Some variation in the finishes of these products is characteristic, in terms of color and texture, and does not constitute a defect. Warranty is limited to the original purchaser, for residential applications only.

This warranty does not cover defects caused by improper handling, storage, installation, assembly or disassembly that is not provided by River City Cabinetry, deliberate damage, product modifications, exposure to the elements including humidity which may result in warping or splitting, accidental misuse, abuse or negligence.

Natural woods may vary in texture, color and wood grain, and display subtle changes as they age. For example, wood joints may eventually have visible cracking around the joint area and cabinet colors may darken or lighten over time. Sunlight, smoke, moisture, household cleaners and other environmental conditions may cause materials to vary from their original color and/or to warp, split or crack. These variations are considered to be the nature of the material in relation to their environmental exposure and are not covered under this warranty.

River City Cabinetry periodically updates and makes changes to its product line and specifications. If a warranty claim is filed against obsolete or changed product, River City Cabinetry will replace the part(s) under warranty with a new part of the same style or with a similar style currently offered.

River City Cabinetry cannot be held responsible for replacement product that may not exactly match installed product. The original consumer purchaser must contact River City Cabinetry.

That is the warranty in full, before you order rather than after. If it reads fair to you, send us the room.

The shop

One person is answerable for your kitchen.

Sergey owns River City Cabinetry. He measures the room, draws it, and — going by twenty-nine reviews — turns up himself when something needs putting right. That is why the reviews read like they are about a person rather than a product.

Send us the room. We send back a drawing and a price.

Rough dimensions and a photo are enough to start. You will get a drawing and a fixed price back.
